What I Know About Source and the Slumbering Mind

Now, I may look like a 96-year-old rancher who rides motorcycles and still operates heavy equipment on the side, but that’s just the outer layer. Truth is, I’ve always known there’s more to this life than grease, gears, and good nutrition. I’ve been studying nature, energy healing, and connection to the Source of all life for longer than most folks have been alive, and let me tell you, we’ve barely scratched the surface of what we’re capable of.

See, here’s the thing: Language is a prison cell.

Don’t get me wrong, I use it like the rest of us to communicate and share what I know. But the construct of language itself is rigged to keep us small. Think about it: a kid growing up starts to believe if there’s no word for something, then it doesn’t exist. That’s not natural; that’s programming. We’ve been given a lexicon of limitation that cuts us off from infinite intelligence. But even that couldn’t stop what’s coming. Evolution, real evolution, is happening. Right here, right now, in our guts, our souls, and our circuitry.

I don’t need a satellite dish or a theology degree to access the Source. I just tap in at any time.

What I’ve come to know, through experience, not theory or tradition, is that the eternal being you are, the essence of you, can focus attention in many directions all at once. You are not a name on a birth certificate. You are not a personality type, a job, or a disease. You are a reflection of eternity’s interest in time, space, and fun. And though your body might be the fingerprint that defines your form, your intelligence is plugged into the same universal Source as mine.

The difference? I never forgot. Most people have.

Humans, as you’ve been taught to think of yourselves, aren’t separate units. You’re not lonely specs floating in empty space. You’re more like active cells inside a vast, intelligent Being. Right now, most of those cells are dormant. Not dead, just sleeping while upright. But the design is still there, built for greatness. You’re wired to be transmitters of divine thought. You’ve just been told not to plug in and are convinced that you need a go-between.

As you release the beliefs that were forced on you, beliefs about what’s “real,” “right,” or “possible,” you’ll begin to remember. The memory of your connection to Source will return. You’ll start to recognize eternal thoughts as your own. You’ll discover latent abilities coded into your very DNA. You’ll see that you and your environment are one, and that the ecosystem isn’t just forest and rivers, it stretches to stars and galaxies that respond to your consciousness.

Some folks call it prayer. Some call it talking to angels. Others say it’s divine inspiration or channeling. Me? I just call it tuning in. The frequency is always broadcasting. The question is whether you’ve turned on the receiver.

I experience this connection daily. Riding across the ranch on my old four-wheeler, watching the elk bed down in the brush, or studying the new buds on my trees, every piece of nature whispers with intelligence. Not separate from Source, but of Source. Nature’s not just pretty, it’s prophecy. A roadmap. A glimpse into the future of conscious living.

Nature is divine intelligence.

And this intelligence doesn’t just live in wildflowers and pine trees. It lives in you. You were built to speak the language of light, the original language. Not bound by symbols or phonetics. A language of knowing. Of resonance. Of absolute unity.

And here’s the hard truth: the human system was hijacked.
You were designed as the central intelligence for this planet. You were the control mechanism. But then came the distortions, greed, control, commercialization, and your systems were shut down. You were told to worship gods instead of walking with them. To obey instead of embody. To suffer instead of evolve.

But let me tell you, old man or not, I still feel it in my bones: It’s time to wake up.

Your senses, these marvelous instruments, aren’t just flawed limitations. They’re gateways. Through them, Source feels. Source learns. Source expands. That’s the paradox: our weakness is also our wonder. Without these human suits we wear, Source could never experience flavor, music, sex, or sorrow. Through us, the Infinite gets to taste its own imagination.

And we’ve got a job to do.

To return to our right function. To break the spell. To tune into the truth that never went away.

There’s only the thinnest veil between the world you see and the one that is. Pull it back. Stop waiting for someone else to do it for you. We’ve had prophets, scientists, poets, and healers come and go trying to describe it, but language will always fall short.

So, feel it. Sense it. Remember it.

And maybe, just maybe, if we do this together, we can set things right again. And when that day comes, when humanity is no longer farmed for its energy and controlled by fear, we can finally rest. Sit by the river. Watch the sky. And marvel at the wonder of what it means to be human.

Until then, I’ll be here, on my ranch, under the stars, talking directly to the Source of all life.

  1. I am turning 56 in October. When I was 16 years old I was tuned into the source. I tuned into information, I knew things , impossible things . My best example is when I traveled from Texas to Florida with my family.
One night I received a thought. My Car was damaged, the front grill and hood messed up.
I told everyone about my vision.
A week later as we turned into the Apartment complex my poor car sat .
The grill and hood damaged. A note on the windshield read ” Sorry I backed into your car.”
I would love to find my way back to that time . Reading your short story made me recall a simpler time in my life.
    Thank you for sharing ❤️
