(That is just seven degrees above freezing in June.)
When I went to school they taught us that the ice age happened thousands of years ago and the world was covered in ice and snow and civilization came to a halt and most people died of starvation.
It might surprise you (I know it surprised me) to know that we are still in that ice age and if it does like other ice ages before this one, we won’t be getting out of this ice age for several thousands more years.
Why is the reality so different from what we are constantly hearing on the news?
Let’s face it, one of the things most all people should want when they are in an ice age is global warming.
The only thing that makes sense to me as to why these big-money people are so scared of global warming is that over several generations their families have invested heavily in manufacturing heating equipment, heating oil, heavy clothes, insulation, and airtight housing. All of those products and equipment would be as obsolete as the do-do bird. if we’re lucky enough to have global warming happen while we are still in about the middle of the current ice age.
Another thing that seems strange to me is those fat cats are also talking about the high levels of CO2 in our atmosphere and how dangerous that is.
It is a very well-known fact that all vegetation breathes in CO2 and breathes out oxygen for us to breathe, but I don’t hear anyone in the mainstream begging everyone to just go out and plant one more tree.
The mainstream news is well-known to be owned by the same fat cats that want us to stay cold and needy, and yet the mainstream is not clamoring about the big percentage of rainforests that are getting cut by the saws their bosses also control.
It is just too much of a one-sided deal to be considered an honest effort at planet conservation.
